2027 Legislative Session Convenes

The Washington Legislature convenes for its 105-day 2027 regular session on Monday, January 11, 2027. WBPA will be in Olympia every day of session, tracking every bill that touches how property is built, rented, sold, and taxed.

WBPA's 2027 priorities

• Promote electronic rental notices
• Oppose the rental junk fee bill
• Defeat new real estate taxes
• Keep all real estate exempt from the capital gains tax
• No tax on rent
