This will be a forum for us to bring forward issues important to the real estate industry for the upcoming 2026 Legislative Session.
As a recap, WREC is a coalition of association executives, staff, lobbyists, consultants and key volunteer professionals that gathers to discuss each organization’s key issues and how we can support each other and avoid conflicts when possible.

THE WASHINGTON REAL ESTATE COALITION
The Washington Real Estate Coalition is an alliance of nearly twenty real estate organizations in Washington State. WREC exists to foster communication and action on governmental affairs issues of concern to the real estate industry.
WREC began in 1996 and has no formal by-laws, officers, or dues. The Coalition is organized by a collective group effort.
The Washington Real Estate Coalition meets once or twice each year to identify areas of agreement or potential conflict between our respective organizations and their legislative and regulatory priorities. Where consensus exists, we leverage the collective influence and resources of our partnerships to affect the best interests of our industry and community. Where conflict exists, we endeavor to resolve such conflict before interacting with government officials on our issues.
