WBPA's 2026 Supreme Court Voter Guide
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, and a majority of the Washington Supreme Court is on your ballot. Five of nine seats are up this year. That has not happened in modern memory, and it matters to everyone who owns, manages, or invests in property in Washington.
The next court is likely to hear the challenge to the state income tax and the HB 1217 rent control lawsuit WBPA joined with RHAWA and MHCW. Who sits on that bench will shape how Washington law is read for years.
Many of you have asked where to focus. Our guide below covers all five races, in priority order.
